Over the decades, TAGCO went on to expand rapidly into other Arab countries with the creation of several companies, granting early support to and becoming a leader of Arab intellectual property rights protection and registration during the seventies with the formation of Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) in 1972. A pivotal achievement of the company during that decade was the introduction of the first English-Arabic Dictionary for Accounting in 1978.
Other notable companies of the organization include: Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. Consulting (TAG-CONSULTANTS) (1973), Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Projects (TAG-Advisory) (1974), Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Information Technology International (TAG-ITI), Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Legal (TAG-LEGAL) (1998) and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Translation, Distribution and Publishing (TAG-TRANSLATORS) (1999).
The organization is also the founder of various Arab professional societies such as the Arab Knowledge and Management Society (AKMS), Licensing Executives Society–Arab Countries (LES-AC), the Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA) and the Arab Society of Intellectual Property (ASIP).
The organization and its activities continue to expand, and in 2006 the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh College of Business (TAG-College) was launched as part of the German-Jordanian University (GJU).
